Nashoba Valley Medical Center is a community hospital serving 11 communities in North Central Massachusetts. Nashoba Valley Medical Center Announces Dr. Gabriel Simon as New Chief of Emergency Medicine

At the beginning of July 2015, Dr. Gabriel Simon became the new chief of emergency medicine at Nashoba Valley Medical Center (NVMC). Since 2013, Simon has been a staff physician in NVMC’s emergency department.

Nashoba Valley Medical Center Gave $704,000 in Community Benefits in 2014

Nashoba Valley Medical Center (NVMC) provided an estimated $704,000 in community benefits last fiscal year. The hospital’s reported total community benefit expenditures of $704,442 in fiscal year 2014 included free or discounted care provided directly to patients and was among the more than $631 million in benefits provided statewide by Massachusetts nonprofit and for-profit hospitals.

Nashoba Valley Medical Center, in Partnership with Mount Wachusett Community College, Receives Nearly a Quarter of a Million Dollar Grant toward an Employee Health Care Training Program

Nashoba Valley Medical Center has been named a recipient of a $248,175 Health Care Workforce Transformation Grant to enhance its overall patient experience through an employee designated health care training program. NVMC has partnered with Mount Wachusett Community College to provide training to all 448 members of the hospital staff over a 24-month period.
