Nashoba Valley Medical Center is a community hospital serving 11 communities in North Central Massachusetts. A member of Steward Health Care, the largest fully integrated community care organization in New England, the hospital boasts a highly qualified medical staff with 115 active and associate member physicians offering community-based primary care and a wide range of specialty services.
Clinical strengths at Nashoba Valley Medical Center include emergency medicine, fully digital, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology, orthopedics and general surgery.
The hospital also offers a diverse array of outpatient services in its Ambulatory Care Center, and a broad spectrum of services in an onsite Occupational Health Center focused on prevention of work-related injuries and illnesses, rehabilitation, and management of return-to-work issues.
The Friends of Nashoba Valley Medical Center are accepting applications from graduating students in the hospital's service area which includes, Ayer, Harvard, Littleton, Westford, Groton, Dunstable, Pepperell, Shirley, Lunenburg, Devens, Townsend and Acton-Boxboro. Applications are available from the Guidance Department in each high school or can be downloaded here.
The primary goal of this award is to assist students who are going on to higher education in any of the many medical fields, such as nursing, radiology, physical therapy, oncology, speech therapy, laboratory sciences and the numerous other branches of medicine.

Nashoba Valley Medical Center Acquires New Olympus EVIS EXERA III Endoscopy System to Help with Earlier Detection of Digestive Diseases
Nashoba Valley Medical Center is among the first hospitals in the region to acquire the Olympus EVIS EXERA III video endoscopy system at its facility in Ayer, Massachusetts. This new endoscopy system uses a video processor, light source, endoscope and monitor, enabling physicians to peer inside the body to diagnose, detect and treat gastrointestinal (GI) diseases and other conditions.
