Olympus EVIS EXERA III Endoscopy System
Revolutionary endoscopy system helps Nashoba's gastroenterologists
detect digestive diseases at an earlier stage when treatments are most
Nashoba Valley Medical Center is among the first hospitals in the region
to offer the Olympus EVIS EXERA III video endoscopy system to help with
the detection of gastrointestinal (GI) diseases, such as colorectal
cancer, at an earlier stage when treatments are most successful. The
Olympus EVIS EXERA III uses a video processor, light source, endoscope
and monitor, which enables our doctors to peer inside the body to
diagnose, detect, and treat GI diseases and other conditions.
The benefits of the Olympus EVIS EXERA III system include:
Enhanced image quality. Advanced optics, state-of-the-art
image sensors and added brightness deliver exceptionally clear,
high-resolution images, enabling more detailed observation.
Improved patient comfort. The 190 series colonoscopes in
the EVIS EXERA III system provide improved comfort for patients.
The advanced technologies included within the system, all
deliver better control to the physician, which makes the
procedure easier on the patient’s body, shortens the procedure
time and improves their overall procedural experience.
Early detection. Because the clarity on the EVIS EXERA
III system is exceptional, it aids our doctors in better
detecting abnormalities, even at their earliest stages. Early
detection can improve treatment outcomes, reduce overall health
care costs and improve the quality of life for patients.
