Daniela Capriles, MD, Joins Nashoba Valley Medical Center to Provide Cardiology Services to Patients in the Nashoba Valley Region

Nashoba Valley Medical Center and Steward Medical Group recently announced the addition of Cardiologist Daniela Capriles, MD, to the medical staff. Beginning October 2015, Dr. Capriles will start seeing patients in Ayer and appointments can be made at this time.

Dr. Capriles specializes in heart failure, valvular heart disease, heart arrhythmias and peripheral vascular disease. She received her medical degree from the Central University of Venezuela, “Luis Razetti” School of Medicine in Venezuela, completed her cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts, and residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to English, she is fluent in Spanish, French and Portuguese.

“We are very pleased to have Dr. Capriles join our team,” said Nashoba Valley Hospital President Salvatore Perla. “Her addition to the medical staff expands our cardiology services and continues to meet the growing needs of our community.”

Dr. Capriles joins the SMG Nashoba Cardiology practice, which is located at 190 Groton Road, Suite 110 in Ayer, Massachusetts.
