Ayer, MA – Nashoba Valley Medical Center (NVMC) and Steward Medical Group recently welcomed board-certified General Surgeon Catherine Tucker, MD, FACS, to the medical staff. Dr. Tucker specializes in breast surgery and is fellowship trained in breast diseases.

“We are very pleased to have Dr. Tucker join our surgical team,” said Korry Dow, president of Nashoba Valley Medical Center. “Because of Dr. Tucker’s expertise, our patients don’t have to travel far from home to receive excellent breast and surgical care services. She is a welcome addition to our team.”

Before joining NVMC’s medical team, Dr. Tucker worked for more than ten years at Hallmark Health Medical Associates. She received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed a surgical residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center. Dr. Tucker completed her fellowship in breast diseases at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Faulkner Breast Center in Boston. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Breast Surgeons.
